As a Downriver native I've served this community in the private sector for over 20 years.Whether it be helping small business owners grow in pursuit of their dreams or being entrusted with clients life savings, I have a history of getting those I represent results.I have shed blood to build roads that have been installed that residents now can use.
Serving others is in my blood.Proud to be the son of a woman who dedicated over 40 years of her life in the medical field as a Nurse. I'm someone who has attended events in support of Police Officers and Firefighters and appreciates the sacrifices they make for our community.
Volunteering is a rewarding act I do out of love for all people. Whether it be by using my back to do manual labor for Habitat for Humanity so that a family can finally afford a home. Or using my mind to mentor and tutor struggling students to lift them up so they can achieve goals they might have thought to be unattainable.
I believe the greatest action one can do is to give of oneself in service to others without expecting to ever receive.
Ten point plan
1) Uphold and Restore the Constitutional rights of Michigan residents.
2) Reduce wasteful government spending.
3) Fight to reel in government overreach, mandates and bureaucratic red tape.
4) Work to revise state tax codes, draft legislation to reduce or eliminate taxiation on overtime hourly earnings.
5) Protect pension plans and workers rights.Advocate on behalf of first responders receiving needed funding and address standards of proper minimum staffing levels to be increased.
6) Stand strong against anti 2nd Amendment legislation, vote for constitutional carry in Michigan.
7) Seek out and create incentivizing options to bring businesses and jobs to Michigan.
8) Work with local government and city officials to meet the unique needs of each city in District 27.
9) Ensure the educational needs of our youth are met and vote against divisive rhetoric being taught in classrooms.
10) Be a fixture in the community by being present, accountable and available to residents.
